iTunes 7 - some annoying UI changes

iTunes 6 and prior versions allowed you to easily browse your music by clicking on the "eye" icon in the upper right. iTunes 7 comes along and it took me about ten minutes to figure out how to get my iTunes 6 style browsing. The "eye" icon is now located on the lower right hand side of the iTunes screen as seen in the image below.
You can only use the "eye" when in the list views of your library and not the "Cover Flow" version as seen in the image below.
So far I have observed that while iTunes 7 is much more refined as far as the UI goes, the application itself is way more sluggish.

On the Windows platform the application is much much faster. Maybe they optimised for Intel?

Yes, it took me ages to figure this out too. And it will probably confuse the vast majority of iTunes users.
