funny that. I did a clean install (actually formated my whole PC and did a 7.0.2 install) and the ibmblog.nsf is nowhere to be seen (it is called ibmblog.nsf isn't it?).
When I create a new DB and select the advanced templates I still do not get the blog template - you have any idea where I could find it?

PS: in the documentation there is talk of an "innovation pack" - I have installed everything that there is to install from the designer package! Maybe it's only included in the normal Client install?

thanks Bruce - found it ;o)
I aqsumed from your screen shots that it was part of the client (as your server is set to local) but found it last night after I installed the server.

I find the fact that some templates are installed only on the server to be quite annoying. If I install the All Clients package and select both the admin and designer as well as the regular client, I would expect to have everything I need available on local.
But maybe that's just me.

@Richard+@kevin: Did you submit that request to IBM by opening a PMR? This is the only official way IBM will hear you.

@Christian - I haven't submitted anything, but it's not a huge deal anyway. You can use policies to push down local replicas, and I would rather do that for a select "designer group" and have more control. There are also a LOT of templates that have no purpose on the client, such as the Administration Process and Monitoring dbs, which only get created once when a server is set up, and in any case only do anything useful on a server.

@Christian: I also haven't entered a PMR. I use the wish list process in the BP Forum database, and I talk directly to developers.
