Awesome. Rock Band and Guitar Hero HATE ghost notes and improvisation, though. It must have been excruciating for Neil to hold back like that. And the guitar controller has so little to do with actual guitar. I'm surprised Alex could even hold it.

That singer guy, though.... he was okay.

Take away their effects and pedal boards and they got nothing. Nothing! They do get a good sportsmanship award for letting this be captured on video.

I can totally relate to what Alex and Neil experienced: my big problem at guitar hero is that I tend to play all the notes of the real song and of course, that is not good. My kids laughed at me because I hard a hard time getting the picking right for Barracuda on that fracking plastic guitar, so I grabbed my real guitar and played over (long live the 25 feet cables) and I don'get bothered by the kids anymore

But as long as they really kick ass in live shows, I don't really care if they suck at RockBand or Guitar Hero
