Recieved an email today from a friend whose company just pushed out Windows XP SP3 to all of it's desktop. He said that SP3 caused all sorts of operational issues yesterday and it seems that some Notes apps that generate Word and Excel docs are seeing this error message:



Any ideas?

A lot of Lotusscript code that calls Word/Excel objects is version specific (Office version that is). Did this upgrade also include an upgrade to Office? Since that code is essentially making VB calls out to Office, maybe SP3 changes something that touches how VB works in Windows generally. Beyond that, I would look at the SP3 documentation to see what if any Office-specific impacts it might have.

Mr. Head can probably provide greater illumination on this issue.

So far we have SP3 with 802 on Office 2k3 and 2k7 are fine. Office SP sometime are tricky as well. But today we saw a bug in 802 built-in ST, when user message same user in group chat and individual with had error
