Lotus Domino applications as Software-as-a-Service
Monday, November 17th, 2008
Before I finish up a blog post I have in draft covering some discussions around Lotus ISV's providing their applications as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) I wanted to first reach out to the Lotus ISV blogosphere and ask "Have you considering offering your applications as SaaS and/or are you currently offering your applications as SaaS?" Please leave a comment here or drop me an email.

Hi Bruce,
My company SLR Software do offer one of our Domino solutions via the SAAS model, the solution is called Rake and allows people to send large files securely - you can find out more at www.slrsoft.com - we use Prominic as our Domino host. Cheers, Ian.

All of our applications, which are web based clinical audits, are provided in a Saas/xSP model - a fixed price for the whole project in which the customising, hosting, management and support are a small part. Unfortunately we don't qualify as a 'true' Lotus ISV as none of the solutions are deployed on IBM hardware.
