Bruce Elgort

Time to say goodbye
Thursday, July 15th, 2010
After 12 years of service at Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas I have decided to leave the company and pursue other endeavors. At Sharp I served as a Senior Systems Engineer for two years and then as the IT Manager for the last 10. During my tenure as IT Manager I had the privilege of leading and working with a fantastic team of IT staff that have been able to sustain a zero downtime record for the business.

Going forward I will be helping Elguji continue to grow their business including new products, services and more. I will also now have the time to dedicate myself to better fulfill my role as the Chairman of the OpenNTF Alliance. Sorry for the short blog entry about this long overdue announcement but, things are very busy in Bruce's world (in a great way).

Stay tuned as I am about to go to "11".

As they say, it was only a matter of time.
Look forward to hearing/seeing great things from you and the Elguji team.

I feel somewhat guilty I've not posted before this - sorry.

Bruce - you are an attractor. Your own personal drive, and Gails' professionalism will basically mean that you succeed in whatever you do.

Its a very brave step - one more than I could ever achieve, but I know you will succeed. Godspeed, and remember me when your rich

All the best of luck - not that you need it - and welcome to the next stage of your rather amazing life.

In awe,

---* Bill

When I saw the title "Time to say goodbye" in the RSS title, I got worried for a second, thinking you were following the trend of two other great Notes bloggers. I was relieved to read what you were saying goodbye to.

It appears congratulations are once again in order! Awesome - I'm so happy you are going to be able to follow a path that takes you closer to the Domino community. You are an incredibly valuable resource for the community and one I miss interacting with.
